Hey everyone, as you know I've been having a break from the game of thrones series by re-reading Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban, I've read this book before and I loved it the first time around, needless to say I enjoyed it this time too.
It didn't take me too long to finish it, partly because I love the Harry Potter series and the story tends to whisk me away and partly because the way JK writes is just so easy to read for anyone no matter how old you are, there is a lot of praise for this book, I think it might be my second favorite book from this series (the first being Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows) and although it's not as long as some of the others I see this as a positive in this case because it's not a story that needs much setting up...by this point we know the characters and we're just eager to hear more about Harry's third year at Hogwarts.
Another reason I love the Harry Potter series and this book in particular is because JK is able to keep a great balance between action, danger and comedy within her story with Fred and George Weasley being the main source of comedy, at least thats what I think.
I think that reading this book was exactly what I needed as it gave me a break from long winded plot lines and complicated wording, I've got no idea what I'm reading next but I intend to surprise myself, while on the subject of surprising myself, I decided to use an app where I can keep track of my book collection, from doing this I discovered that I have a lot more books than I thought I had...the grand total brings me just shy of 400 at 398, I definitely shocked myself...all I can say is that it's a good thing I have a small library room to keep them all in otherwise I doubt I'd be able to move!
I rate this book a 4.5/5, keep coming back to see what I've been reading next! in the meantime I hope you all have lots of fun!
