Hi guys, I told you I'd be back soon with a review for this one, I finished this book in a day and that wasn't just because it isn't a big book, I REALLY enjoyed this book! it was a perfect balance of romantic, dangerous, fun and also sad.
I'm not going to give too much away because I don't want to spoil anything for you guys but there is a plot twist and I didn't see it coming, I loved the characters and how the book felt so real like it made me think about how people with diseases like Maddie's actually live, this isn't something that was made up for the purpose of a book this is something that can affect people and it was interesting to learn about what life like that must feel like.
Maddy is a very relatable character, she's curious about the world that she's never seen and she's close to her mum and her carer because they are the only people that she sees until she meets Olly, I loved Olly as a character, I think he's kind, caring and very brave, neither character has a perfect life and I think that's what draws them together, they can support each other.
I cried at the ending but I can't tell you why without ruining the ending for you so all I can say is that you need to read it for yourselves! it's easy to read and easy to get lost in, like I said I read it in a day and I know a lot of other people have done that too which means it must be addictive to other people and not just me.
I think Zoella has picked some great books for her book club and I still have one more of them to read, Billy and me by Giovanna Fletcher, I'm going to save that until I've finished reading the third game of thrones book 'A storm of swords: steel and snow' and after that (or maybe during) I'll have the new Harry Potter book to read which I am sooooo excited for!
I'll be back soon with another review for A storm of swords, apologies if it takes a while, these game of thrones books take me a while! until then happy reading!
